How america is different from Europe?
America is foundationally is diasporic, peripheral culture. It's going to differ from the hearth cultures at metropole because of those dynamics. It was the recipient of cultural influences for 200 to 250 years from Europe without much of anything but the raw material going to the other way.And most of the influences occurred from Britain during the long Pax Britannia.
So,America
1)Is foundationally protestant in a way Europe isn't.
2)Is,more than that,particularly Calvinist.
3)Had no tradition of feudalism and chronically a dispossessed peasantry.
4)Developed chattel racial slavery as a means perpetuating the closest analogue to the above it ever did develop.
5)Is very pragmatic mostly but

6)Has had ideological influence from Europe.
7)Is unified
8)Simply younger than Europe.
